Being the eldest grandson of an iconic legacy politician as the Late Humayun Rasheed Choudhury (HRC), whose career started with an illustrious stint in the foreign service and then later became the Speaker of Parliament, People’s Republic of Bangladesh, opened several doors for Mishal. Yet Mr. Karim chose to dedicate the last twenty years to build up various companies that have both social and economic upside.
Like his grandfather, Mishal Karim has deep patriotic ties to his country and holds the desire to give back to various CSR initiatives and charitable foundations.

Derek Lee, the CEO of Pericom Group of Companies in Asia since its establishment in May 1987, has played a pivotal role in the rapid growth and expansion of the organization throughout Southeast Asia. Renowned as a leading expert in Document Imaging solutions, he boasts over three decades of expertise in Document Capture, Document Management, Mass Storage Management, Central Archival Solutions, and Business Process Management. Mr. Lee's influence extends across Singapore, where he initiated Pericom Imaging PTE, as well as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Hong Kong. Notably, in 2013, he assumed the role of President for the South Asia Chapter of AIIM (The Association for Intelligent Information Management). Additionally, he has delivered keynote speeches at numerous international conferences and seminars, addressing topics such as Information Technology, Knowledge Management, and collaboration conferences for Microsoft Exchange in India, including Mumbai and Banglore.
